NEV Parking Spaces

There are many local business who accommodate NEVs by providing dedicated parking spaces and/or charging outlets. As other businesses realize the potential for positive publicity and increased patronage, the list continues to grow. Please patronize the businesses below, and let them know that you appreciate their NEV accommodations. If you have any additions or corrections to this list please let us know.

The best way to find charging and parking locations is with our interactive Google Map. Use the map to view the exact location of these accommodations, as well as photographs of each.

Carl's Jr./Panda Express

Charging/Parking: Located between Carl's Jr. and Panda Express. There are charging outlets and parking spaces. To open the outlet cover, place thumbs on the hinge at the top and push upward.

Downtown

Charging/Parking: Two parking and charging spots are located behind Lincoln Chinese at 5th and F. These spots are often occupied by non-electric vehicles, whose owners ignore the signs.

Home Depot

Charging/Parking: Parking spaces and charging outlets are located at the east side of the Home Deport Parking lot, closest to the railroad tracks and Hwy 65. The parking spaces are labeled on the pavement, and signs are posted. Home Depot installed these spaces at their own expense. Please thank them with your patronage.

Lowe's

Charging/Parking: Parking spaces and charging outlets are located at the front of the store.

McBean Perk

Parking Only: McBean Perk has "10 minute" parking spaces in front, which the owner claims are acceptable for NEV parking regardless of the duration of your visit. These spaces are not marked for electric vehicles, so there is some risk in parking here for an extended time.

McDonalds on Hwy 65

Charging/Parking: Parking spaces and charging outlets are located near the restaurant's entrance.

Raley's Shopping Center

Charging/Parking: This shopping center features many NEV parking spaces and charging outlets. The spaces are in groups of six to eight, and are found throughout the parking area. The parking spaces directly to the right of Raley's do not have charging outlets. All other spaces feature working outlets.

Safeway Shopping Center

Parking Only: This shopping center has a few "Golf Cart" spaces throughout the parking lot. No charging facilities are available.

Starbuck's/Chili's

Charging/Parking: Located in front of the new Starbuck's and near to Chili's. There are charging outlets and parking spaces. To open the outlet cover, place thumbs on the hinge at the top and push upward.

Sterling Pointe Shopping Center

Charging/Parking: This shopping center, located across the street from Raley's, features many NEV parking spaces and charging outlets. The spaces are in groups of three, and are found throughout the parking lot.

Target Shopping Center

Charging/Parking: Located between Panera Bread and Kragen. There are charging outlets and parking spaces. To open the outlet cover, place thumbs on the hinge at the top and push upward.

Twelve Bridges Library

Charging/Parking: The new Twelve Bridges Library features NEV charging and parking in the East lot.

Twelve Bridges Shopping Center

Charging: The light posts in this shopping center feature charging outlets for NEVs. There is no dedicated NEV parking, but parking spaces near outlets are plentiful. The outlets are now energized 24 hours a day, and not just at night.
