Allstate Insurance

BatteriesPlus
BatteriesPlus in Citrus Heights is a local resource for NEV batteries. For a reasonable fee, they will come to your house, install the new batteries, and dispose of the old ones. As of March 2007, their Trojan SCS225 batteries were selling for about $161 each. While convenient, the cost is high. Lower cost batteries are available from other sources, but are not generally advertised.
Battery Recyclers
Upgrading your battery pack? Recycle the old batteries, and earn a little cash at the same time. Battery Recyclers is a certified mobile recycler that will pay $8 per NEV or golf cart battery. Due to an increase in gas prices, they no longer pick up batteries outside of Elk Grove, but they do accept drop-offs at their location and will pick up within Elk Grove. Cabral Chrysler

Electric Conversions (Elcon)
We are extremely fortunate to live so close to "Elcon", which is located in downtown Sacramento. Elcon is the factory service center for upgrades to the GEM's Zivan charger. While the rest of the U.S. has to mail in their chargers for an upgrade, Elcon can service a charger on-site in about an hour. Be sure to call ahead before dropping by with your charger.
The folks at Elcon are extremely knowledgeable about all types of electric vehicles. They also have a lot of contacts in the area related to electric vehicles. If you need something electrical for your car, contact Elcon first.

Electrick Motorsports is a full-service, California licensed NEV dealer in Loomis. The owners are friendly and extremely knowledgeable.
